Drug Counselor Jimmy Fournier is trying to do the right thing. Yet when he breaks into a kid's home to remove a stash of stolen heroin, he kicks off a series of wrongs which, over the next 48 hours, won't end until someone pays the ultimate price.

Slipping beyond the grasp of sanity and sobriety and into the familiar darkness of addiction, deception, and violence, Jimmy becomes embroiled in the overdose of an undercover cop, a drive-by shooting, a police manhunt and a mother's revenge.

Slipping Into Darkness is a story that attempts to unveil the racial, relational, and rehabilitative complexities of one man as he struggles with the duality of savior and survivor, mentor and addict.

With multiple themes of recovery, revenge, race, and redemption, Slipping takes us into the heart of Jimmy. A man half Jewish, half Black, who discovers perhaps too late, that there are some things you canŐt recover from, some things you can't reclaim, and redemption doesn't always reveal itself to the highest bidder.
