The primary mission of Abyssinian Moon is to produce and promote thought provoking and inspirational entertainment through sound, vision, and words.  Founded in the Spring of 2001 by Lizette Jamison and allen l. sowelle, AMP is dedicated to increasing our collective understanding of the world we live in by focusing a clear and compassionate lens on the often neglected narratives of people of color.

Film and television producer Lizette Jamison along with writer/director and editor allen l. sowelle believe in the responsibility of the artist to raise the consciousness of our communities by providing narratives that not only entertain, but inform and inspire.
